Number One: Weekends away in nature to recharge are necessary. You won’t last long in a big city if you’re not taking a nature breaks frequently. Even a small town Bed & Breakfast can usually be enough.

Number Two: Owning a well appointed versatile wardrobe and premium travel essentials, gear and accessories are a must. Neat, tidy and always ready for those spontaneous trips and outdoor excursions close to home and abroad.

The World Is My Oyster

I started this blog, which is a work in progress, because I have an insatiable passion for travel and I am always seeking adventure. Capturing and documenting these experiences has become an essential part of my journey. Just like my favorite PBS star, Rick Steve’s Travel’s in Europe, I’ve adapted to the ever-changing times. Speaking of adaptation, I have made more than one career path pivot. Becoming a Brand Ambassador makes the most sense. This blog is somewhat of a compilation of snapshots and stories which capture even the most trivial and seemingly random moments including the planning and the fine art of packing. Ensuring I have everything I need to feel pampered while away from home is crucial. Traveling in comfort means having top of the line gear, gadgets, and versatile apparel suitable for any occasion. My wardrobe consists of foldable, packable, wearable, washable, wrinkle-free, luxurious and highly functional garments. And let’s not forget the assortment of mini-sized favorite bath and beauty supplies, a girl’s must-haves.

So, back to my story… When traveling, my senses are so piqued. It’s my time to dream, to write, to be in my element, on my own or with people with whom I am creatively compatible. That time away from home is a time to create new stories, clarify goals and discover new pursuits. It’s a very productive time and it’s all happening in my head. The whole world. Being in a new place without familiar distractions is very grounding for me. And when it’s time to return to the mundane, It’s all so fresh again like the first time. The mellow, jet lagged sensation of a langsam reintegration is intensified. Yet, it’s in that homecoming that I find my renewal and my purpose.
